About two years ago a friend lent me a book which she thought I would find interesting. 
          It's called "The Secret" she said.  I'd never heard of it but being open minded I decided
          to read it.  She explained the principle of it to me and I must admit I was intrigued. 
          Well two years and countless books, articles, videos, courses and audios later I am well  
          and truly hooked.  

         When I was first given the book I had just moved from the UK to Cyprus and having gone over budget with buying somewhere to live and a car etc., I found myself with no job, very little cash, a large overdraft and increasing credit card debts. 

So having nothing to lose I  started applying some of the principles to my own life - I sat down and thought about what I really wanted in life knowing that I could have it if I put my mind to it and really believed it.  I started to meditate daily, looked at subliminal videos, prepared my vision board, did my daily affirmations, read my gratitude list.  It took me a little while to do all of the ground work such as finding the right pictures for my vision board and making sure that my affirmations were worded correctly so as not to sound as if I am "wanting" but that "I have now".  But once done I just started to incorporate it into my daily routine and yes I do get up earlier each day to make sure that I have the time to do it, but I can assure you it is well worth it.

I now work from home, I am also writing short stories, something I've always wanted to do.  I have started to write my first novel and I am looking to buy another property back in the UK so I can split my time between my two homes.  I know that I would not have achieved all of this if I had not read "The Secret" which started me on my journey of exploration and discovery.    

I have by no means finished the journey yet, nor manifested all of my desires, but the signs are there now that they are within reach.  I am still learning and I am still searching for more material and so this website will grow as I add further resources.
